excellent breakfast! Much better hotel than the other HI in Aylesbury when last we stayed.
The heating in the cold of winter obviously presents a problem - in our room there was supplied a supplimentary plug in heater. The air conditioning apparently needs help. Advise urgent thorough survey of system.

Nice basic hotel with modern design. One of the best continental breakfasts with the porridge and meat and scrambled egg. Stunning and pleasant location direct to the bus stop and nice enough area. Early check-in, late check-out. Great pool. A relaxing stay of two nights.
Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

Good room standard, clean and quiet, easy availability of reasonably priced food in the evening until quite late, good breakfast buffet. A good hotel to use as a base for exploring the Chilterns

Staff were polite and helpfull. The location was easy to reach and central for exploring the area. The food and accomodation were excellent value especially the wonderfull breakfast selection. The leasure areas were very comfortable and relaxing. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Holiday Inn to friends and would certainly return myself.
I really cannot think of anything that I disliked.

Well-kept swimming pool, spacious family rooms, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
Inconsistent water supply !!! The noisy corridors ruined my sleep, and the air conditioning wasn't effective-more like a sauna than a cool room!!! A towel bin in the leisure center changing rooms is a must!!!

We stayed in Holiday Inn Aylesbury because it was only half an hours drive from Milton Keynes (we went to an event at mk Bowl). We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, breakfast was good and our room was good.
One downside was that we had a twin instead of a double! Only other downside was that there was a lot of noise at night. We stayed on a Friday and a Saturday and both nights there were weddings at the hotel. This didn't bother us apart from the noise at night - lots of doors banging and people talking loudly!

the holiday inn hotel was very clean and quite modern, we liked the fact that it was just far enough out the way of a town centre, so relatively quiet.
i feel that it is a little bit overpriced for what you pay.

We arrived at 01.00 and were expected, a pleasant surprise. Very pleased that our room was close to the pool for the morning swim.

The room was a generous size and very comfortable.
The reception staff watched me return to my car three times to pick up luggage but there was no offer of help to carry it upstairs and no one mentioned that there was a shorter route to my room. The reception staff directed me instead to a convuluted route to the farthest other corner of the hotel where my room was. Next morning I was told of the short cut after I commented that I would have benefitted from having a taxi to get to my room.
